Reports suggest WWE Evolution, the all-women’s premium live event, is set to make a long-awaited return later this year. Back in 2018, WWE hosted its first-ever all-women’s premium live event.

Stephanie McMahon announced the event on an episode of WWE RAW in 2018, with Triple H and former chairman Vince McMahon standing in the ring. Meanwhile, the entire women’s roster lined up on the entrance ramp to witness the moment.

On October 28, 2018, WWE Evolution took place at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. The event featured several high-profile matches, including Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella in the main event. WWE Hall of Famers Lita, Trish Stratus, and Beth Phoenix also made special appearances by competing in matches.

For years, fans have demanded that WWE bring back another all-women’s premium live event. With the women’s division now stacked with incredible talent, it looks like WWE is finally answering those calls. Reports indicate that WWE will announce Evolution’s return before WrestleMania 41.

WWE Evolution reportedly returning in 2025

Earlier this month, Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays reported that WWE plans to host an Evolution premium live event in the near future. While Hays mentioned that the details remain tentative, the show is currently scheduled for July 5 at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Now, WrestleVotes has also confirmed the plans, stating that the highly anticipated all-women’s show will return this summer. An official announcement is expected before WrestleMania 41. The outlet also credited Cory Hays for the initial reporting.

The original premium live event featured seven matches, including four women’s title matches. Now, with the main roster introducing mid-card titles and NXT having a stacked women’s division, fans are set to witness another exciting all-women’s premium live event this year.
