Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is determined to secure a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 41. On WWE RAW, he battled Finn Balor for the final spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Seth Rollins defeated The Judgment Day leader Finn Balor, securing his place in the match. With WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto set for next week, the men’s match features a stacked lineup including John Cena, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest, and Seth Rollins.
Each competitor aims to earn the opportunity to challenge WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41. Rollins, determined to reclaim his top spot. He’s not been a champion since losing the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania 40.
While Seth Rollins fights for his place in the main event, he recently revealed his surprising post-retirement plans. The Visionary plans to transition into a backstage role once he steps away from in-ring competition.
Seth Rollins considering WWE creative or leadership role
WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently appeared on Bloomberg’s Kim Bhasin at Super Bowl LIX Radio Row, where he opened up about his future beyond wrestling. While retirement is still a long way off, Rollins acknowledged that he is now closer to the end.
He stated, “[The end of my in-ring career is] still a ways off, obviously. I mean, I’m closer to the end of my career than the beginning, but the end ain’t here yet. I’m kind of in my prime right now. My mental and physical are kind of like locked in right now—where my physical hasn’t declined too much, and my mental side is really on the rise as I’m starting to see the industry from a different angle.”
He continued, “That part I’m really focused on. I think we’re in the early stages of conversations about what it might look like for me in the future in an executive or in a creative role, or whatever that may be. But again, that’s in its infancy, that’s like a ‘Hey maybe, what would you think down the road?’ Right now, I’m focused on what I’m doing in the ring and helping out there as best I can.” [H/T: f4wonline]
