WWE set up this tag team match after the chaos that unfolded last week on RAW. In a Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier match, Morgan faced Iyo Sky, with Raquel Rodriguez attempting to distract Sky to help Morgan.
However, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley intervened to assist Sky. Amid the chaos, she accidentally struck Morgan with a forearm. The referee disqualified Sky, allowing Morgan to qualify for the Elimination Chamber match.
After the match, Iyo Sky was upset with Rhea Ripley’s actions. Although Ripley tried to explain herself, Sky ignored her and stormed off. The fallout from last week’s drama led WWE to book Morgan and Rodriguez in a tag match against Sky and Dakota Kai.
During the match, Sky pinned Morgan after delivering Over the Moonsault for the victory. However, Morgan not only endured a tough loss but also sustained a painful injury above her eye, leading to heavy bleeding.

Although Morgan took the pin in the tag team match, she still has a chance to compete in the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41. By securing a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, she remains in contention for a title opportunity.
