WWE is gearing up for its next premium live event, Elimination Chamber: Toronto, set to take place on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. After WWE Royal Rumble 2025, the road to WrestleMania 41 has become clear for Jey Uso and Charlotte Flair, who emerged victorious in their respective Royal Rumble matches.
As Elimination Chamber: Toronto approaches, the show is already generating buzz with Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches. It has been confirmed that John Cena, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk, Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Alexa Bliss have secured spots in their respective matchups.
With just weeks to go, reports suggest WWE is planning to have a major star at the show. The latest update reveals that Toronto’s own, Trish Stratus, is set to be involved on the show. She surprised fans by entering the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match as the 25th entrant. Stratus lasted in the match for 13 minutes before Nia Jax eliminated her.
Trish Stratus set for a possible role at WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto
Trish Stratus delivered a strong performance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match and received a massive ovation. After which the WWE Hall of Famer is now expected to play a role in WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto.
According to Fightful Select (via paywall), WWE has plans to involve Stratus in some capacity at the event. Adding further fuel to speculation, WWE has also released new merchandise celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut. A few months ago, Stratus had hinted at a potential return, marking this milestone in her career.
Before returning at WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Trish Stratus sent a message to Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green. She called her out and telling her to “stop being such a b*tch.” With Stratus directly addressing Green, speculation is rising about a potential match between the two. This is especially true since both superstars hail from Canada.
