At WWE NXT Vengeance Day, NXT Women’s Champion Giulia will defend her title against Perez and Bayley. While Perez remains focused on reclaiming the championship, she made a huge impact at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 this past weekend.
Roxanne Perez entered the Women’s Royal Rumble at No. 3 and lasted till the final two. She faced Charlotte Flair in the closing moments of the match but ultimately fell short, as Flair eliminated her to win the Women’s Royal Rumble for the second time in her career.
However, Roxanne Perez made history by setting the record for the longest time spent in a Women’s Royal Rumble match. The former NXT Women’s Champion delivered a standout performance, impressing many, including Mark Henry, who believes WWE sees her as a future top star based on how she was booked in the match.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Mark Henry recently discussed Roxanne Perez’s impressive performance at the WWE Royal Rumble. He stated, “Roxanne Perez at the end, her and Charlotte [Flair as the final two], Roxanne is not in that place for nothing. Roxanne is in that place because of what they see the future being. How awesome it is to be in that spot where the company views you as somebody that could potentially be a top, top person in the business? Roxanne should be super proud of herself.”
The former WWE NXT Women’s Champion lasted 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 47 seconds in the Royal Rumble match. She has made a significant impact in NXT over the past few years. It will be exciting to see how the 23-year-old continues to shine once she joins the main roster.
