Booker T Shares His Reaction to Corey Graves’ Outburst After Moving to WWE NXT

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has responded to Corey Graves‘ outburst after moving to the NXT commentary team. Graves joined Vic Joseph and Booker T at WWE NXT New Year’s Evil as the third member of the team.

Before WWE RAW Netflix’s debut, the promotion made changes in its commentary teams. Pat McAfee returned to RAW with Michael Cole, while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett moved to SmackDown. Graves joined NXT alongside Vic Joseph and Booker T.

However, Corey Graves was unhappy with the change and publicly expressed his frustration. He mentioned that he was told he was not famous enough to keep his position, which seemed to be directed at Pat McAfee and Joe Tessitore, who took over his roles on the main roster.

After missing an episode due to his outburst, Graves made his return to the WWE NXT commentary team last week, joining Vic Joseph and Booker T. He expressed satisfaction with being in NXT, emphasizing his passion for the role. Things appear to have calmed down between WWE and Graves after his outburst. Recently, Booker T revealed that he is “not cool” following the incident.

“We’re Not Cool” – Booker T reacts to Corey Graves’ WWE NXT outburst

On the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T shared his thoughts on the situation with Corey Graves. He expressed his belief that personal matters, especially regarding jobs, should not be shared on social media, as it often becomes too public.

Booker T acknowledged that he had not spoken to Corey Graves about the outburst and revealed that he was unhappy with the tweet. He stated, “We’re not cool, not cool at all. I didn’t like the tweet. I didn’t tell him I didn’t like it, but I’m sure there perhaps will come a time when I might say it … he wasn’t talking to me, wasn’t talking about me, so therefore that’s out of my pay rate you know what I mean? So I let the bosses handle that stuff.” [H/T: WrestlingInc]

Despite Booker T’s unhappiness with Graves’ outburst, both were seen on commentary this week on WWE NXT without any issues between them.
