WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently revealed a wild side of his former Shield brother, AEW star Jon Moxley. Debuting at WWE Survivor Series 2012, The Shield, consisting of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose, quickly became the top faction in WWE.
The trio eventually split in 2014, with each member rising to the top as singles competitors. All three went on to achieve Grand Slam Champion status in WWE, solidifying their legacies. However, in a shocking move in 2019, Ambrose left WWE and signed with AEW as Jon Moxley. Despite the years that have passed, fans still hope for a reunion between the three stars.
Over the years, the three stars have mentioned on several occasions that they’ve kept in touch. Recently, Reigns shared a story about Moxley’s unpredictable nature during their travels. Looking back, Reigns hopes Moxley has now settled down for the sake of his family.

Speaking on SHAK Wrestling, Roman Reigns recalled how Jon Moxley often vanished without warning, whether during their Shield entrances or while traveling together. He noted Moxley’s habit of wandering off in airports before suddenly reappearing. Now that Moxley is a family man, Reigns hopes he has left that habit behind.
Reigns stated, “It’s been a while. I haven’t talked to him in a bit. The one thing about Mox is you can’t GPS him. You can’t be like, ‘Oh he’s right here, don’t worry’ – we had no clue where he is, but we always knew he would be there. A lot of times we’d be up in the concourse, so we all get up there together and you’re wondering where he is, because there’s only so many places to hide.”
He continued, “But that was the one thing, he scared us a couple of times, like they’re playing the Shield music and going through the alphabet, and I’m over here looking at Seth like, ‘Uhh, do you know where the fox is?’ The fox is gonna fox. But literally every time it was time to take a step down those stairs, he was always there. And that’s how he was. This guy, we’d be walking through the airport, and he’d just disappear…”
Reigns added, “And then out of nowhere he pops up, he’d have a bagel and a coffee and half a mouthful of a croissant or something like that. It’s been a while and he’s got a family now so I’m hoping that he’s a little more predictable for his wife and child’s sake, but yeah he was an unpredictable dude for sure.” [H/T: Wrestletalk]
