WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio has an idea for former AEW star Penta El Zero Miedo’s next matchup following RAW. On the January 13th edition of WWE RAW, fans witnessed the highly anticipated debut of Penta El Zero Miedo.
During WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere, Chad Gable challenged the “top luchador in the world.” General Manager Adam Pearce promised to find the best luchador for him. While Pearce did not immediately reveal the opponent, all signs pointed to Penta El Zero Miedo, as WWE had teased his arrival with several video vignettes in the weeks prior.
In the latest episode of WWE RAW, Penta El Zero Miedo made his debut to a massive fan reaction, stepping in to face Gable. The former AEW star made an immediate impact, defeating Gable with two brutal moves — the Mexican Destroyer and the Penta Driver.
Following Penta El Zero Miedo’s dominant debut, Dominik Mysterio from The Judgment Day has proposed a match against CM Punk for the newest star.
Dominik Mysterio calls for a WWE dream match: Penta vs. CM Punk
Dominik Mysterio, the son of legendary luchador Rey Mysterio, wants to see a match between Penta and CM Punk. Mysterio proposed this matchup in response to a WWE tweet asking fans who they would like to see Penta face next following his debut.
As expected from the cocky Dirty Dom, he did not hold back, mentioning CM Punk. However, he threw a major jab at Punk by sharing a GIF from their AEW encounter, where Punk attempts a hurricanrana on Penta but slips and falls off the top rope.
Neither CM Punk nor Penta has responded to Dominik Mysterio’s message yet. However, it will be intriguing to see how they react to his suggestion of a matchup between the two former AEW stars in a WWE ring.
