WWE Superstar Big E has finally reacted to The New Day’s Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston’s recent antics. Following their turn on the former WWE Champion Big E, Woods, and Kingston have faced major heat from fans and their peers.
Woods and Kingston criticized Big E for leaving The New Day and his neck injury and personal life. This has led to fans booing them every week on the red brand. Locker room leader Rey Mysterio even urged them to apologize if they wanted to continue sharing the locker room, but Woods and Kingston rejected the suggestion.
Since kicking Big E out of The New Day, both Woods and Kingston have consistently criticized him for choosing his new life over them. Woods and Kingston have not stopped criticizing Big E, who has remained silent on the matter. He has finally shared his thoughts on his former tag team partners.
Big E on The New Day’s heel turn: ‘I’d like to see those guys move forward’
WWE Superstar Big E appeared on the premiere edition of RAW on Netflix. He was asked about the actions and behavior of his former stablemates during the WWE RAW on Netflix Premiere post-show. Big E acknowledged that since his departure, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston seemed to be distracted from their primary focus.
He stated, “Look, those guys are focusing on a lot of things besides the main thing. You know, since my departure, championships haven’t really been something they’ve held a lot over the last three years. They seem very distracted by what’s going on, worrying about people’s acclaim or lack thereof. I’d like to see those guys move towards something.”
Big E also expressed curiosity about what the future holds for The New Day. On the latest edition of WWE RAW’s premiere episode on Netflix, both Woods and Kingston were again not given time to speak.
During the post-show, Cathy Kelley asked them to share their thoughts. However, Woods and Kingston were clearly disappointed that they did not get a chance on the show. Thus, they decided to walk out of the interview after the show aired.
