Could This WWE Superstar Make a RAW Return Soon? Netflix Debut Sparks Excitement

WWE RAW is set to make its highly anticipated transition to Netflix in just a few days. The show will debut on the streaming platform on January 6, 2025. Moreover, WWE has already confirmed the show will take place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California.

WWE has unveiled an exciting lineup for the debut, featuring three major matches: Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match, and Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk in the main event of the show.

The show will also showcase appearances by John Cena, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, and others. Moreover, rapper Travis Scott will be joining as a special guest for the event. WWE recently released a promo for the show that included former WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, fueling fan speculation that Lynch may return during the premiere.

With such massive plans for the show, including top Superstars and exciting matches, fans are now wondering whether 14-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton will make his return. Amid this, recent reports have shed light on Orton’s status ahead of the WWE RAW debut episode on Netflix.

Randy Orton’s status for WWE RAW Netflix debut revealed

At WWE Crown Jewel, Randy Orton was originally set to face Kevin Owens. However, the match never officially began as both superstars engaged in a chaotic brawl that spilled throughout the arena. Their heated rivalry escalated on the November 8 episode of SmackDown, where Owens delivered a devastating piledriver to Orton. But, this eventually culminated in Orton being carried out of the venue. Since that incident, he has been absent from WWE television.

As RAW’s Netflix debut approaches, fans are speculating about Orton’s potential return on this historic episode. Additionally, Sportskeeda’s Dr. Chris Featherstone reported that Orton is not currently scheduled to appear on the show.

As such, it remains to be seen when the promotion plans Randy Orton’s return and what consequences Kevin Owens might face for using a banned maneuver against him.
