With the caption “For one night only,” he teased the return of the classic Winged Eagle title. Rhodes, who opened the box, had a golden glow lit up his face, strongly hinting at the Winged Eagle title’s reappearance.
Reports later revealed that WWE had discussed bringing back the Winged Eagle Title. Even Cody Rhodes has openly stated in several interviews that he wants to bring back the iconic title. His efforts paid off at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event when he wore the classic title.
