On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn clashed over Zayn’s alliances with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Their heated argument led to Zayn challenging Rollins to a match in the show’s main event.
Before the match, an unknown person attacked Jey Uso backstage. Sami Zayn believed Seth Rollins was behind the attack. During the match, Rollins clarified to Zayn that he was not the attacker. Zayn, angry, tried to strike Rollins with a chair, but Rollins stopped him. After tossing the chair out of the ring, Rollins capitalized and pinned Zayn to win the match.
After the match, an upset Zayn was attacked by a hooded figure. The figure delivered a Claymore Kick, revealing Drew McIntyre as the person who had attacked Jey Uso. McIntyre, who had been absent from WWE since early October following his loss to CM Punk in a Hell in a Cell match, made his unexpected return.

Recent reports from PWInsider revealed that WWE moved up Drew McIntyre’s return by several weeks. The change happened because of Bronson Reed’s injury at Survivor Series. Reed suffered an ankle injury at the show when he performed a Tsunami from the top of the steel cage through a table.
Bronson Reed shared on social media that he injured his ankle while performing the Tsunami from the top of the cage. Ahead of his return reports, it was revealed that McIntyre was originally scheduled to return for WWE’s holiday week live events. Now that McIntyre is back, it will be interesting to see if he targets the remaining members of the original Bloodline.
