Former WWE Women’s World Champion Becky Lynch has been absent from WWE programming for over six months. The last time fans saw her on WWE TV was during the May 27th edition of RAW, where she faced Liv Morgan in a steel cage match.
Lynch, determined to reclaim her title, had been interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, who tried to assist her. However, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh from The Judgment Day intervened, stopping Mysterio.
In the chaos, Braun Strowman appeared to chase Balor and McDonagh, pushing Dominik Mysterio into the cage door. The door swung into Lynch’s face as she was about to escape, sending her back into the ring. This allowed Morgan to crawl out of the cage and retain her title.
After the match, Lynch remained off WWE programming. Reports indicate her contract expired on June 1, and she took an extended leave from WWE. Lynch even teased retirement, sparking speculation among fans about her future in the company.
However, during her appearance at the Vulture Festival 2024, Lynch hinted at a possible return. A major update has now emerged, confirming the possibility of her return in the coming months.
