Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre made his shocking return on RAW after several months. McIntyre last appeared at WWE Bad Blood 2024, where he lost to CM Punk in a brutal Hell in a Cell match.
McIntyre took time off after receiving 16 staples in his head during his Hell in a Cell match at WWE Bad Blood 2024. A few days ago, reports emerged about WWE creatives pitching ideas for his return.
During the latest WWE RAW, Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins argued about Zayn teaming up with CM Punk and Roman Reigns. Their argument led to a main event match. However, before the match began, Zayn’s close friend Jey Uso was attacked by an unknown attacker.
At first, Zayn suspected Seth Rollins, given their recent issues and Jey Uso’s continued support for Roman Reigns. Rollins denied being the attacker after defeating Zayn, but as he walked backstage following his win.
Zayn, upset over his loss and Rollins’ warning him about rejoining The Bloodline, was attacked by Drew McIntyre. McIntyre delivered a Claymore that knocked Zayn out cold. Now back in action, McIntyre has sent out a message following his return.
Drew McIntyre fires back after his WWE return: ‘How quickly they all forget’
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Drew McIntyre posted a video on his social media. In his video, he remarked on how quickly people forget things. He stated, “If you don’t hear it from me, live on WWE TV, or on my social channels, assume that every single thing you hear about Drew McIntyre is BS! Oh, and how soon, you all forget.”
It appears McIntyre is once again focusing his attention on members of The Bloodline, particularly Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. This could follows a situation in 2022 when The Bloodline prevented McIntyre from winning the Undisputed WWE title from Roman Reigns.
