In recent months, WWE Superstar Liv Morgan has faced several top stars, including Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch, Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and others. Among these names, Morgan recently made a rare decision to praise one of her recent rivals — Becky Lynch.
2024 has been Liv Morgan’s year in the women’s division. From her return at the WWE Royal Rumble to her ongoing feud with Rhea Ripley, she became the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Champion after defeating Nia Jax. In short, Morgan has made significant strides.
In a candid interview, Morgan openly praised her rival Becky Lynch. The two stars clashed in a rivalry during April and May, leading to a match at the WWE King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
Morgan defeated Lynch for the Women’s World Title in that match, but they had a rematch on WWE RAW a few days later, where Morgan once again retained her title. Following the match, reports revealed that Lynch’s WWE contract had expired.
As news of Lynch’s contract expiring spread, she also teased her potential retirement, something Morgan had previously claimed. Despite this, the latter recently expressed her genuine admiration for Lynch, calling her a future WWE Hall of Famer.

In a recent interview with Inside the Ropes magazine, Liv Morgan expressed that if Lynch were to never return, she would undoubtedly earn a spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. Morgan stated, “I think if Becky never comes back, I definitely think she is 100% a Hall of Famer. She has become a martyr for women’s wrestling and performance all around. She can do it all.”
Furthermore, Morgan also praised Becky Lynch for her accomplishments both inside and outside the ring. She said, “Her goal, I think, was to really evolve it and maximise women’s wrestling and really make women’s wrestling feel just as special and important as the men’s wrestling, and she did it all while being a fantastic brand-new mummy.”
Lynch has been absent from WWE for several months now. Nevertheless, speculation is growing that she might return during the upcoming debut episode of WWE RAW on Netflix on January 6.
