The Bloodline Member Share His Initial Thoughts on CM Punk’s WWE Return

WWE Superstar CM Punk will team up with the original Bloodline this Saturday at Survivor Series: WarGames, filling the spot of the missing fifth member for the matchup.

Last week on WWE SmackDown, Paul Heyman returned to television after nearly five months. He announced that CM Punk would join the original Bloodline as their fifth member for Survivor Series: WarGames. Punk then made his way to the ring and fought alongside the original Bloodline to take down Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline.

Roman Reigns looked surprised as Punk came to his aid, staring him down in the ring while Heyman stood on the apron. The two men continued their tense stare-off as Sami Zayn and The Usos joined them, raising their ones in the air. Simultaneously, Punk delivered his signature sleeping gesture as he stood with the original Bloodline.

It has been a year since CM Punk made his shocking return to WWE after nearly a decade. Now, as Survivor Series: WarGames approaches, Punk will stand with the original Bloodline. However, amid this, one original Bloodline member recently shared his thoughts on Punk’s return, given their past unresolved issues. That member is none other than Sami Zayn.

Sami Zayn reflects on the past issues with CM Punk

Recently, on WWE Playback, several superstars watched last year’s WarGames match, including the iconic return of CM Punk at the end of the show. Among them was Sami Zayn, who shared his thoughts while watching the playback. Zayn reflected on his relationship with Punk, noting that there had been unresolved issues between them.

Sami Zayn said, “Punk is, I guess it’s pretty well documented that he’s an interesting character who’s had his ups and downs with most people, both in the ring and backstage. I think there was just some unresolved stuff between he and I, we hadn’t spoken for I don’t know how many years at this time.”

He commented on his comeback by stating, “Seeing him back, at first it’s like, huh, okay. But we eventually ended up talking whatever issues out and just, you know, it is what it is. It kind of doesn’t matter what I think, look at those people, they’re all jumping out of their seats, I think that’s all that really matters.”

The two stars resolved their differences and will team up this weekend at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
