WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, who will defend her title against Iyo Sky, has confirmed a major match for Survivor Series: WarGames. Morgan appears to have concluded her rivalry with Rhea Ripley, as Sky is now her new challenger for the title.
Rhea Ripley sustained a fractured right orbital bone during a brawl with Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on the October 21 episode of RAW. Following this injury, Morgan and Rodriguez brutally attacked Ripley on WWE NXT, writing her off television.
In Ripley’s absence, Liv Morgan went on to become the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion by defeating Nia Jax at WWE Crown Jewel 2024. Following her win, a battle royal took place on RAW last week. There, Iyo Sky emerged victorious by eliminating Lyra Valkyria, making her the new number-one contender.
In the latest WWE RAW episode, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill successfully retained their tag team titles by defeating Morgan and Rodriguez. The match saw interruptions from Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, Naomi, and Iyo Sky, but Belair ultimately pinned Morgan amidst the chaos. Now, with tensions running high, Morgan has confirmed a highly anticipated Women’s match for WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
