WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan’s Next Challenger Revealed

WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan made history this past weekend by becoming the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion. Morgan faced Nia Jax from SmackDown, defeating her to claim the highly anticipated title.

This has been an exceptional year for Morgan, beginning with her surprise return at the Royal Rumble. Though she did not compete at WrestleMania 40, WWE had big plans for her. After WrestleMania, she was set to begin a rivalry with Rhea Ripley, but Ripley’s shoulder injury led to a change in plans.

With Ripley temporarily sidelined, Morgan seized the Women’s World Championship by defeating Becky Lynch. Her success did not stop there, as her storyline with Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio over the summer quickly became a fan favorite.

Dominik Mysterio ultimately aligned himself with Morgan in her feud with Ripley, and this partnership proved incredibly successful. Recently, Raquel Rodriguez also joined their team. With Morgan achieving such remarkable back-to-back successes, the question now is who will challenge her next.

Liv Morgan set to clash with Iyo Sky for WWE women’s world championship

A few months ago, reports surfaced that WWE planned to tape the November 4th edition of RAW in Saudi Arabia. New reports revealed the details of the upcoming edition of the event. The show featured a segment of Liv Morga, who was celebrating her Crown Jewel Championship win against Nia Jax.

However, her celebration was interrupted by Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, who challenged Morgan and Rodriguez to a tag-team match. Adam Pearce then appeared, expressing his disapproval of the idea. However, he announced a different plan a battle royal to determine Morgan’s next title challenger.

The battle royal featured stars like Iyo Sky, Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria, and Maxxine Dupri. Iyo Sky ultimately won by eliminating Valkyria, securing her spot as the number one contender for Morgan’s title.

While the exact date for their title match was not specified, it may take place at the upcoming premium live event Survivor Series: WarGames, scheduled for November 30 in Canada.
