Major Star Set Return on WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown’s upcoming edition on October 25th will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New Jersey. The show promises to be packed with action and intense segments. Last week, Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes invited World Heavyweight Champion Gunther to join him on the show.

Next week, these two stars will clash at WWE Crown Jewel 2024 in Saudi Arabia for the inaugural championship. With Cody Rhodes provoking Gunther on the blue brand, fans can anticipate an intense showdown between the top championships of RAW and SmackDown this Friday.

The tag team division is gearing up for a significant match as the Motor City Machine Guns, who debuted last week, face off against DIY for the number one contendership spot. Additionally, Andrade and Carmelo Hayes will compete in another major match, with both having three wins against each other. This week, their seventh match will feature LA Knight as the special guest referee.

Fans are also expecting a showdown involving The Bloodline and Roman Reigns, as well as Jimmy Uso. This is because the faction caused Jey Uso to lose his title on WWE RAW. Thus, Jey could potentially show up on the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown. Amidst this speculation, recent reports have shared that a major star is expected to make his return this Friday.

Shinsuke Nakamura set to make appearance on WWE SmackDown

According to the latest reports from PWInsider, former Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura is slated to appear this Friday on the double taping episode of WWE SmackDown. Nakamura has not seen since his match against Sheamus on WWE RAW back in April.

Since then, he has only competed in dark and house show matches. Recent he has been having series of matchs against LA Knight on the European tour. It will be interesting to see what plans WWE has for Shinsuke Nakamura following his return.
