WWE is currently preparing for their next premium live event, Crown Jewel 2024, in Saudi Arabia in a few weeks. Recent reports have revealed that WWE is planning for a major event in 2025.
WWE Crown Jewel will take place on November 2, 2024, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The show currently features two significant matches for the RAW and SmackDown championships, including top matches for both the men’s and women’s divisions.
At WWE Bad Blood 2024 a few weeks ago, Triple H announced a significant change, stating that this year marks the beginning of a new era for WWE. He revealed that the top champions from both the men’s and women’s divisions of RAW and SmackDown will compete against each other. Although the titles won’t be on the line, the winner will earn the title of Crown Jewel Champion.
In the men’s division, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther will face WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, in the women’s division, the Women’s World Heavyweight Champion Liv Morgan will face WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. The inaugural Crown Jewel Championship matches are already generating excitement among fans.
With Crown Jewel set take place in Saudi Arabia in few weeks. The promotion is already planning for major shows in 2025. While WWE has secured locations for their upcoming premium live events 2024 and 2025, including Survivor Series, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania 41, and SummerSlam. Recent reports suggest that the promotion is considering a major show in Australia in 2025.
WWE plans return to Australia for major show in 2025
Recently, The West Australian reported that WWE is in discussions with the Cook government about returning to Perth next year. While the government is keeping details under wraps, it is believed that the show will take place in the latter half of 2025.
Tourism Minister Rita Saffioti stated, “We’re constantly pursuing these types of unique and exclusive events that attract visitors to our beautiful State, particularly ones that we know are incredibly popular like UFC and WWE.”

Earlier this year, in February, the promotion hosted the Elimination Chamber at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia.
