Massive Update on WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar Sparks Return Speculation

WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar has not appeared on screen for over a year, but recent events have sparked speculation about his return after RAW. Lesnar was originally set to make his comeback earlier this year during the Men’s Royal Rumble match. However, those plans fell through when his name was allegedly referenced in the Vince McMahon lawsuit.

This resulted in WWE canceling his return plans as well as any future appearances. Fans quickly noticed that WWE refrained from mentioning Brock Lesnar’s name on television. Despite this, his former advocate, Paul Heyman, acknowledged him during this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.

In May, WWE commentator Michael Cole caught fans off guard by mentioning Lesnar during the King and Queen of The Ring premium live event. Kevin Owens also said his name a few months ago on WWE SmackDown. Despite these mentions, Brock Lesnar has remained absent for over a year, as WWE appears hesitant to bring him back until the legal matters are resolved.

Recently, however, WWE fans noticed references to Brock Lesnar being used on RAW. These references were not just one off mentions but occurred twice. This has led fans to believe that Lesnar might be on the verge of making his return.

Brock Lesnar referenced twice on WWE RAW

The latest edition of WWE RAW featured two references to Brock Lesnar. The first mention came from Cody Rhodes, the last man to face Lesnar in WWE. During a heated segment with Gunther, the Ring General took a jab at Rhodes by calling him a secondary champion.

Rhodes fired back, reminding Gunther that he had defeated the most dominant champion in WWE history, Roman Reigns. He then declared that he had already slain a frightening beast, referring to Brock Lesnar.

The second mention came from former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. In a backstage segment with Adam Pearce, Rollins asked for a match against Bronson Reed. There, he stated that he had defeated beasts, making another reference to Lesnar.

So, fans look forward to seeing if these mentions lead to a potential return of The Beast Incarnate.
