Solo Sikoa, now leading The Bloodline, addressed The Rock‘s highly awaited return at WWE Bad Blood 2024. Ahead of the premium live event, rumors were swirling as many expected The Rock to make a surprise appearance.
WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes fueled these rumors during his interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.” McAfee directly asked Rhodes about “the big guy” possibly returning at WWE Bad Blood 2024. This conversation sparked fan speculation that The Rock would indeed show up.
In the main event at WWE Bad Blood, Rhodes teamed with Roman Reigns to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The match was intense, with the four competitors exchanging blows in a hard-fought battle. As anticipated, The Bloodline members Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa interfered in the match.
Despite their interference, Jimmy Uso returned and took them out, distracting Sikoa long enough for Reigns to hit a spear and secure the victory. After the match, The Rock made his long-awaited return, locking eyes with Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns as they stood in the ring.
Amid this, Sikoa addressed the final boss’s return, fueling speculation about whether The Bloodline members were aware that The Rock would be making his appearance at WWE Bad Blood.
Solo Sikoa on The Rock’s return: ‘It’s part of the plan’
After Roman Reigns secured the win for his team at WWE Bad Blood, The Bloodline launched an attack on Cody Rhodes. Reigns hesitated to step in at first, but Jimmy Uso reminded him that he had promised to back Rhodes up. This led both Reigns and Uso to join the fight, helping Rhodes fend off The Bloodline.
As The Bloodline retreated through the crowd, The Rock made his return. Reigns, Rhodes, and the returning Uso had just driven off Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa. Fan footage from the crowd then surfaced, sparking speculation that The Bloodline knew about The Rock’s appearance. In the video, Sikoa was heard telling Fatu that “it’s [The Rock’s return] part of the plan.”
It will be interesting to see what happens in the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown. With The Rock back, what will his response be to Roman Reigns teaming up with Cody Rhodes?
