AEW star Jeff Jarrett recently endorsed former WWE World Heavyweight Superstar Bobby Lashley. Lashley parted ways with WWE when his contract expired in August, leaving alongside his former Hurt Business teammate, MVP.
After their departure, fans began speculating about the possibility of the former Hurt Business members reuniting. This speculation intensified when reports emerged that Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin planned to come together to reform The Hurt Business in AEW.
Last week, MVP debuted on a special edition of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. During the show, he confronted Prince Nana, criticizing him for failing as the manager of former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland. MVP handed Nana a business card and encouraged him to pass it on to Strickland, suggesting they could talk business.
With MVP’s mention of business, fans began to wonder if Bobby Lashley might also be heading to AEW. Recently, Jeff Jarrett praised Lashley, stating he would be a fantastic addition to the promotion.
Jeff Jarrett’s on Bobby Lashley in AEW: What did he say?
AEW star Jeff Jarrett addressed the possibility of Bobby Lashley joining Tony Khan’s promotion on his My World podcast. He expressed his admiration for Lashley’s career journey, emphasizing that he would be an outstanding addition to the AEW roster.
He stated, “Now, again, I’m on the outside looking in on so many things as it relates to creative and talent and all that. That would be fantastic. Bobby, in his career, has come a long way, and it goes without saying I was a huge fan of his going way back to the TNA days. We’ll call it the IMPACT/Anthem days, and certainly today. But, man, he would be a fantastic addition, I’ll say that. Super athletic, looks great, carries himself like a champion, and from bell to bell, he can get it done.”
It will be interesting to see when Bobby Lashley makes his AEW debut following MVP’s arrival. With MVP confronting Prince Nana about Swerve Strickland, fans are eager to find out if MVP will bring Lashley and Strickland together to form a new version of The Hurt Business in AEW.
