WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels recently appeared on WGN Radio, where he promoted the upcoming WWE NXT episode from Chicago’s Allstate Arena. He teased that not only would CM Punk be in attendance, but he would also be playing a significant role.
He stated, “Can’t let the cat out of the bag on that right now. So, he’s going to be there. He’s going to be playing a major role, obviously, for us, and again, as I said. Certainly, other surprises are sure to come.”
Furthermore, Michaels also discussed the excitement surrounding NXT’s upcoming move to Chicago. He noted that while the talent enjoys their home base in Orlando, traveling and performing in new locations is a significant event for them.
