WWE SummerSlam saw the highly anticipated return of Roman Reigns as he confronted The Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa had taken charge of The Bloodline since WrestleMania 40 following Roman Reigns’ departure.
Roman Reigns, who had been on hiatus from WWE, made his return at SummerSlam. However, during his absence, his faction, The Bloodline, underwent significant changes. Sikoa, who took over the faction, had expelled Paul Heyman and Jimmy Uso. He also introduced Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu into the new version of The Bloodline.
Furthermore, Solo Sikoa began referring to himself as the Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. Leading up to his highly anticipated match against Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Title at SummerSlam, Sikoa challenged Roman Reigns, questioning if Reigns had issues with Sikoa’s leadership of the faction; he knows where to find Sikoa.
Weeks of calling out culminated in Roman Reigns confronting Solo Sikoa this past weekend at SummerSlam. Reigns delivered a Superman Punch and a spear to his brother Sikoa, which led to Sikoa losing his match against Cody Rhodes. Following the match, Sikoa, who was at ringside, was seen screaming in frustration as Reigns cost him the victory. Now, days later, Sikoa has finally broken his silence regarding the controversy that occurred at SummerSlam.
Solo Sikoa sends strong message to Roman Reigns
The new Tribal Chief, Solo Sikoa, has finally sent a message to Roman Reigns following SummerSlam. The Bloodline member Tama Tonga shared a picture on his Instagram featuring the new Bloodline lineup, which includes Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Sikoa responded by reposting it on his Instagram story. Although Sikoa didn’t include any message in his story, the message was clear and directed towards Roman Reigns.
The message clearly indicated that, despite the controversy at SummerSlam, Solo Sikoa remains the Tribal Chief of The Bloodline. While Reigns has not yet responded to the message, he is scheduled to appear on the upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown.
