When Did Seth Rollins Learn About His WWE Return Plans?

Former WWE World Champion Seth Rollins is scheduled to make his in-ring return at the upcoming premium live event, Money in the Bank. Last week on WWE RAW, fans were treated to a surprising moment as the show began with the return of Rollins. The fans in the arena were shocked to see the former WWE World Champion make his comeback.

Seth Rollins’ last appearance was at WrestleMania 40, where he fell short in two high-profile matches. He faced off against Drew McIntyre for the world title but lost. Following their match, Damian Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the title from Drew McIntyre.

After Priest’s recent victory over McIntyre at Clash at the Castle in Scotland, fans wondered who would challenge him for the World Championship next. Enter Seth Rollins, whose shocking return on RAW left everyone buzzing. Soon after his appearance, the current champion, Damian Priest, confronted Rollins in the ring.

Seth Rollins shares insights into his surprising WWE return

The current world champion, Damian Priest, recently challenged Seth Rollins, who made his shocking return last week. The former challenged Rollins to a match at WWE Money in the Bank in Canada. Rollins, who never received his rematch following WrestleMania 40, accepted Priest’s challenge for the match.

In a recent interview with ComicBook Nation’s Matt Aguilar, Seth Rollins discussed the circumstances surrounding his surprising return. He stated, “A little fluctuation. I had a few weeks notice. We kind of looked at the timeline of the injury and looked at the stories and where I fell back into place. You never really know how things are going to go.”

Rollins continued, “The top of the card here on RAW is stacked. You have guys like Damian Priest, Drew McIntyre, CM Punk whenever he is around and able, GUNTHER waiting in the wings, Rey Mysterio, Judgment Day. It’s stacked. It was interesting to see where I could slide in. The time felt right. Coming off Clash at the Castle, it was ripe for the picking. Damian Priest needed a challenger, so I hopped right in.”

Both stars have raised the stakes for the upcoming bout this week on WWE RAW. Rollins stated that if he loses, he will never challenge for the world title as long as Damian Priest is the champion. However, if Rollins defeats Priest, he must leave his faction, Judgement Day. Initially hesitant, the current world champion eventually agreed to the high stakes of the match.
