Lynch, who is currently engaged in a heated feud with Nia Jax, is gearing up for a historic clash at WWE Raw Day 1 episode. It is a highly anticipated first-ever singles match between the two megastars.
Becky Lynch made history in the main event of WrestleMania 35 by securing both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. She defeated Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey to earn these titles. Now, amidst rumors of contract expiration, Lynch has reaffirmed her commitment to WWE.
Speaking in an interview with Strutting From Gorilla, Lynch stated that she wasn’t in a hurry to part ways with the promotion. In fact, she intends to end her wrestling career in WWE.
“Growing up, WWE is what I watched, it’s what I loved, it’s the reason I became a professional wrestler. Now, having been in it, I love it. I love the people, I love the audience, and I love being able to being an important part of change.” she stated.
Furthermore, she added, “I love that I get to continue to drive that and that my voice matters in WWE. I feel listened to, and I feel we’ve been able to change the landscape of women’s wrestling forever. That feels very special to me. It’s my home. It’s where I was born as a professional wrestler in many ways in terms of my influence, and it’s where I’ll retire.”
