CM Punk Gives Update on WWE Royal Rumble

CM Punk has taken the WWE universe by storm since his triumphant comeback at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames in Chicago.

In a riveting promo for the SmackDown episode that aired on December 8th, Punk hinted at possible big matchups with stars like Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins.

The speculation reached a fever pitch among fans to see when CM Punk would re-enter the WWE ring. It looks like fans might have to wait until January 2024, as he made a major announcement regarding Royal Rumble 2024 on the latest edition of RAW.

The drama escalated at WWE RAW when World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins confronted CM Punk, accusing him of being a fraud for calling WWE his home. Punk, who remained calm after getting called out by Rollins, issued a warning that this was the only free pass he had for slandering him without facing any consequences.

However, surprising the fans, Punk made a major announcement by declaring his entry into the 2024 Royal Rumble, following in the footsteps of Cody Rhodes.

The excitement escalated as Punk hinted at a potential showdown with Seth Rollins for the coveted World Heavyweight Title. It will be interesting to see if the Second City Saint emerges as the winner at the Royal Rumble and goes after The Visionary.

CM Punk Officially Joins WWE RAW Roster

CM Punk has been a force to be reckoned with, making waves on RAW, SmackDown, and NXT to determine his future in WWE. After weeks of teasing, Punk finally made his decision on the latest edition of RAW.

Last week, RAW General Manager Adam Pearce informed Seth Rollins in a backstage segment that he had asked CM Punk to sign with Raw after losing Randy Orton to SmackDown. On the latest edition of WWE RAW, Punk officially signed the contract offered to him by Adam Pearce, making him RAW exclusive.

As Punk has officially signed with the RAW roster, it will be interesting to see when he will have his first match on Monday nights.
