There’s only one week left until the latest animated venture from the child sci-fi franchise, Transformers: Cyberverse, premieres on Cartoon Network and the network has released two new trailers for the series highlighting both the classic character designs and the Autobots’ new mission. Both trailers can be viewed in the player below!
When Bumblebee (voiced by Jeremy Levy, Killzone 3) loses his memory of his current mission on Earth, Windblade (voiced by Sophia Isabella) steps in to help repair his memories chips, allowing him to rediscover his past adventures on Cybertron. As they sort through his memories, they discover a clue to help complete the mission and save their friends while also having to fight against Megatron (voiced by Marc Thompson, Pokémon) and his Decepticon assassins.

Transformers: Cyberverse is returning to its glory-day roots in more ways than one, with the character designs acting as a direct homage to the Generation 1 animated series from the ’80s, while also choosing to focus on the characters and their development versus solely an action element.
“When we were designing the look and feel of Transformers: Cyberverse, we were inspired by the classic clean appearance of the original G1-style,” Tom Warner, Senior VP for the Transformers franchise at Hasbro, told to Entertainment Weekly. “This was the design we initially fell in love with in the ‘80s and it felt like the perfect fit for this new origin story.”
The first trailer offers a general look at the series and its plot, while the second offers an extended look at an episode of the first season entitled “Allspark,” which sees Bumblebee revisiting a memory of the titular artifact that shows some of its mystical powers and a difficult mission surrounding it for Bumblebee.
The series, which already has a two-season order, will see its first season of 18 11-minute episodes debut on Sept. 1 on Cartoon Network.
