Riverdale Chapter Twenty-Four Promo: The Wrestler

Following last night’s return of the series, The CW has released the first promo for next week’s episode of Riverdale which you can check out in the player below!

Episode 2.11 of the series is set to air Wednesday, January 24 and is titled “Chapter Twenty-Four: The Wrestler.” It is described as follows:

“Amidst preparations for the town’s annual Picken’s Day festivities, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) interviews Toni’s (guest star Vanessa Morgan) grandfather and learns some shocking details about Riverdale’s history. In an attempt to get closer to Hiram (Mark Consuelos), Archie (KJ Apa) tries out for the Riverdale wrestling team after learning of Hiram’s love of the sport. Meanwhile, Betty (Lili Reinhart) unearths some dark secrets about her brother Chic (guest star Hart Denton), and Veronica (Camila Mendes) and Josie (Ashleigh Murray) clash as they prepare for their Picken’s Day performance.”

Greg Araki directed the episode, which was written by Britta Lundin & Brian E. Paterson.

KJ Apa stars as Archie Andrews in the series along with Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge, Ashleigh Murray as Josie McCoy, Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones and Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl Blossom.

Based on the characters from Archie Comics, Riverdale hails from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios, in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Jon Goldwater.
