The Walking Dead Comic-Con trailer has been viewed more than 31 million times in four days
AMC today announced that the new The Walking Dead Comic-Con trailer, previewing the hits series’ upcoming eighth season, has been viewed online more than 31 million times within four days, breaking its own record as well as surpassing other major Comic-Con trailers. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead reigns as television’s most watched drama for Adults 18-49. The series is executive produced by showrunner Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse. The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse, and follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home.

The series stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand, Christian Serratos, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
Look for The Walking Dead Season 8 to premiere on October 22.
