What did Tyler Perry say about the Beauty in Black Season 2 renewal?
Perry will once again serve as a writer, director, and producer for Beauty in Black Season 2. In a new statement, the series creator teased what to expect from the next installment. This comes after the show just debuted the second part of Season 1.

If you thought Season 1 was a wild ride, you’re not ready for Season 2.”
Beauty in Black is written, directed, and executive produced by Perry. The series is also produced by Will Areu, Angi Bones and Tony Strickland. Additional cast includes Amber Reign Smith as Rain, Ricco Ross as Horace, Debbi Morgan as Olivia, Richard Lawson as Norman, Steven G. “It follows two women leading very different lives,” reads the logline. “While Kimmie is struggling to make ends meet after her mother kicked her out, and Mallory finds success running her own business. Eventually, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives.”
