Paramount+ has shared the School Spirits Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of the hit supernatural coming-of-age series starring Cobra Kai vet Peyton List. The next installment is scheduled to make its debut on Thursday, January 30.
“Picking up from the shocking season one finale, Maddie Nears is still stuck in the afterlife, but now with the knowledge of what happened to her. She must unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds in order to reclaim her stolen life,” reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the School Spirits Season 2 trailer?
The video highlights Maddie’s continuous search for the truth as her friends do everything they can to help bring her body back to her. It also promises a much scarier season for viewers, teasing higher stakes for Maddie and her friends. Besides List, the cast also includes Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy, Spencer MacPherson as Xavier Baxter, Kiara Pichardo as Nicole Herrera, Sarah Yarkin as Rhonda, Nick Pugliese as Charley, Rainbow Wedell as Claire Zomer, Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin, and Milo Manheim as Wally Clark.
School Spirits is created and executive produced by Nate and Megan Trinrud, with Oliver Goldstick serving as the showrunner. The show is based on the Trinruds and Maria Nguyen’s graphic novel of the same name. In addition to leading the cast, List is also set as a producer, with Goldstick and Thomas Higgins executive producing.
