Apple TV+ has officially tapped Iron Fist star Jessica Henwick and Designated Survivor star Ashley Zukerman to join the Silo Season 3 cast for the upcoming next installment of the acclaimed sci-fi drama. This comes after a month since the show had scored a two-season renewal from the Apple TV+.
Henwick is set to portray the role of Helen, who’s described as a whip-smart reporter. Meanwhile, Zukerman will be playing a young and hungry congressman named Daniel. At the moment, further details about the next installment’s plot are still being kept under wraps.
Who is in the Silo Season 3 cast?
Silo is written and created by showrunner Graham Yost based on Hugh Howey’s post-apocalyptic novel series of the same name. Season 3 will feature returning cast members Rebecca Ferguson, Common, Tim Robbins, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite, Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, and more.
“It is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside,” reads the synopsis. “However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and those who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.”
The series is executive produced by Ferguson, Yost, Ben Brafman, Jon Midlane, Fred Golan, Cassie Pappas, Fred Golan, Ingrid Escajeda, Remi Aubuchon, Hugh Howey, and Nina Jack. Producers are Aric Avelino, Ben Brafman, and Joanna Thapa. Since making its debut in 2023, Silo has recieved positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. Its latest season currently holds a near-perfect Tomatometer rating of 96% on Rotten Tomatoes.
