Disney has released The Simpsons Holiday Special trailer, previewing the upcoming Christmas episode for the hit animated comedy and also revealing what guest stars will be in it.

The new trailer highlights the hijinx that Homer gets into this holiday season. After being hypnotized to believe he is Santa Claus, the rest of Springfield also gets in on the fun and becomes enamored with Christmas cheer.

The Simpsons Holiday Special, titled “O C’Mon All Ye Faithful,” will premiere on December 17, 2024, exclusively on Disney+.

Alongside the traditional cast of The Simpsons, the upcoming holiday special will also feature musical performances from Patti LaBelle and Pentatonix, as well as a guest appearance from British mentalist Derren Brown.

“Famed British mentalist, Derren Brown, comes to Springfield and uses psychological tricks and showmanship to raise the town’s Christmas spirit,” reads the episode’s official synopsis. “When Homer gets hypnotized and mistakenly believes he is Santa Claus, it sets off a cheery chain-reaction and causes everyone to question what they believe and to explore the meaning of ‘miracle.’ Featuring musical performances by Patti LaBelle and Pentatonix.”

The Simpsons originally began airing in 1989 and is the longest-running American animated series and longest-running American sitcom of all time. The show has aired more than 770 episodes as of this time, and all episodes for the series are currently available to watch on Disney+.
