What happens in the Ahsoka 4K clip?

The clip centers around Natasha Liu Bordizzo’s portrayal of Sabine Wren. It features behind-the-scenes of Bordizzo’s first scene as Sabine, featuring the show’s creative team, including showrunner David Filoni, discussing the fan-favorite character’s outfit, helmet, and set tower. The video also highlights Sabine’s loth-cat, revealing how the team managed to bring the adorable creature to life.

While our clip is from the “Ghosts of the Past” special feature, it’s just one of four bonus features included in the home release. Here’s what you can expect from the Ahsoka 4K release:

  • Ahsoka: Legacy — Join cast and crew for a look at developing Ahsoka’s live-action series.
  • Path of the Apprentice — Explore the dynamic of Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka within the world between worlds.
  • Ghosts of the Past — Go deep with a spotlight on Ahsoka’s allies: Sabine, Hera, Ezra and Chopper.
  • Darkness Rising — Uncover the secrets of Ahsoka’s foes.

Ahsoka was written and executive produced by Dave Filoni, best known for his work on fan-favorite Star Wars animated shows The Clone Wars and Rebels. Set within the same timeline as The Mandalorian, Season 1 revolved around the titular Jedi’s quest across the galaxy as she investigates an emerging threat following the fall of the Empire. At the moment, Season 2 is currently being developed at Lucasfilm. However, its potential filming start date and target release have yet to be revealed.

The series stars Rosario Dawson as the former Jedi Knight, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, and Wes Chatham as Captain Enoch, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as the voice of Huyang, and more.
