Peacock has released the official Laid trailer for its newest dark comedy series, which will be led by Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu (Everything Everywhere All at Once). It is scheduled to start streaming on Thursday, December 19.

What happens in the Laid trailer?
The video features Hsu as her character who suddenly gets involved in a strange situation as she tries to save her remaining exes from dying. In addition to leading the cast, Hsu is also serving as an executive producer. The series also stars Zosia Mamet, Michael Angarano, and Tommy Martinez, with Andre Hyland, Olivia Holt, David Denman, Finneas O’Connell, Chloe Fineman, Ettore “Big E” Ewen, and John Early set as guest stars.
“A woman finds out her former lovers are dying in unusual ways and must go back through her sex timeline to confront her past in order to move forward – LAID is a f**cked up rom-com where the answer to ‘Why can’t I find love, is there something wrong with me?’ is a resounding ‘Yes. There is. The problem is definitely you,'” reads the logline.
Laid is an eight-episode, twisted romantic comedy series written and executive produced by showrunners Nahnatchka Khan and Sally Bradford, who previously collaborated on 2012’s Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23. It is based on the Australian series of the same name, which hailed from Marieke Hardy and Kirsty Fisher. Executive producers are John Davis, John Fox, Jennifer Carreras, Marieke Hardy, Kirsty Fisher, and Liz Watts. It is a production by Universal Television and All3Media International.
