Pixar has finally shared the official Dream Productions trailer for the upcoming Inside Out spinoff series. The mockumentary-style workplace comedy will be available for streaming on December 11 on Disney+.
“The all-new series about the studio inside Riley’s mind where dreams really do come true – every night, on time and on budget,” reads the synopsis. “Riley is growing up and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions. Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni, a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams.”

What happens in the Dream Productions trailer?
The video officially introduces each member of the creative team behind Riley’s dreams and nightmares. It highlights the crew’s chaotic productions, as they try their best to create the best and artful dreams in order to make Riley happy. The trailer also teases the appearances of the Inside Out cast, including Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust.

Dream Productions is written and directed by Mike Jones, with Jaclyn Simon serving as its producer. The 4-episode miniseries takes place between the events of the 2015’s Inside Out and 2024’s Inside Out 2. It will feature the voices of Paula Pell, Richard Ayoade, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black and Phyllis Smith.
