The new trailer details more of the chaos set to take place in the final 10 episodes of the show, including drama involving interpersonal relationships, planetary adventures, and more. Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 5 will premiere on Paramount+ on October 24, 2024, and is expected to run through December 19.

Lower Decks features the voices of Tawny Newsome, Jack Quaid, Noël Wells, Eugene Cordero, Dawnn Lewis, Jerry O’Connell, Fred Tatasciore and Gillian Vigman. The animated comedy centers around on the support crew serving on one of Starfleet’s least important ships, the U.S.S. Cerritos.
Originally premiering in 2020 as part of the expanded Star Trek Universe of Alex Kurtzman, Lower Decks follows the adventures of the USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet’s least important starships. The series fully revolves around the ongoings of the “lower deckers,” low-ranking officers in Starfleet who don’t have flashier jobs or go on big adventures like that of the captains.
