Netflix has shared another Arcane Season 2 teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated second and final installment of the hit animated action-adventure series. This comes ahead of the show’s full Season 2 trailer release on Thursday, September 5.

What happens in the Arcane Season 2 teaser trailer?
The 20-second teaser highlights the consequences of Jinx’s deadly attack from the Season 1 finale as the Topside declares martial law to restore peace over Piltover. Meanwhile, Jinx takes on an important role in Zaun as she becomes the new hero of the people, who can potentially be the one to unite the Undercity against the Topside.
“Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions and the power that will tear them apart,” reads the series’ official synopsis.
Based on Riot Games’ League of Legends video game, Arcane is created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee. The series stars Ella Purnell as Jinx/Powder, Hailee Steinfeld as Vi, Katie Leung as Caitlyn, Reed Shannon as Ekko, Amirah Vann as Sevika, Mick Wingert as Heimerdinger, Ellen Thomas as Ambessa, Brett Tucker as Singed, and more. It is produced by Riot Games in partnership with animation studio Fortiche Productions. Executive producers are Christian Linke, Marc Merrill, Brandon Beck, Jane Chung, and Thomas Vu.
