Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 Gets Teaser Trailer, Casts Gray Sisters

Disney+ dropped the first teaser trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2, confirming that production on the next installment has officially started in Vancouver. The hit coming-of-age fantasy series is slated to make its return in 2025.

Who is in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 cast?

In addition to the teaser trailer, Disney+ has also confirmed the casting of Margaret Cho, Kristen Schaal, and Sandra Bernhard, who have been tapped to play the Gray Sisters in Percy Jackson Season 2. The next installment will be based on Rick Riordan’s second Camp Half-Blood Chronicles book titled The Sea of Monsters.

Listed below are the complete character descriptions for the three new cast members (via Deadline):

  • Bernhard will be playing Anger – the Gray Sister in charge of collecting cab fare from heroes who call upon the taxi. Anger impatiently awaits her turn to use the one eye shared between the Sisters.
  • Schaal is portraying Tempest – who currently has the coveted eye shared between the sisters and uses it to peer at the Heroes, read their future, and tease them about their crushes and social lives.
  • Cho portrays Wasp – the main driver of the Gray Sisters Taxi. She takes the heroes on a high-speed and hair-raising journey to Camp Half-Blood. Even though she’s blind most of the time, she’s truly seen it all.

They will be joining returning cast members Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon, with new cast member Daniel Diemer as Percy’s cyclops half-brother Tyson. The series hails from executive producers Rick Riordan, Jon Steinberg, Dan Shotz, Rebecca Riordan, James Bobin, Bert Salke, Monica Owusu-Breen, Jim Rowe, and Gotham Group’s Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, and D.J. Goldberg. It is a production by 20th Television.
