Netflix has shared the official Unstable Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of the father-son comedy, starring Golden Globe nominee Rob Lowe and real-life son John Owen Lowe. The next installment will start streaming on August 1,2024.

What happens in the Unstable Season 2 trailer?
The Season 2 trailer highlights what’s next for the newest installment to Lowe’s hit Netflix comedy. It features Rob Lowe’s biotech genius character Ellis Dragon, whose position as CEO is getting challenge by his son and Lamorne Morris’ Peter.
Unstable is created and executive produced by showrunner Andrew Gurland. The series also stars Aaron Branch, Emma Ferreira, Rachel Marsh and Sian Clifford, with recurring guest stars Fred Armisen, Lamorne Morris, Iris Apatow, Frank Gallegos, JT Parr, Tom Allen and Sean Clements. In addition to leading the cast, Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe are also executive producing alongside, ean Clements, Claire Scanlon, Victor Fresco.
“In Season 2, Ellis lays out a series of challenges and mind games for Jackson to see if he has what it takes to succeed him as the heir to the Dragon empire, but does a newcomer have other ideas?,” reads the new logline.
