The full Snowpiercer Season 4 trailer for hit sci-fi drama’s upcoming AMC debut has been revealed, teasing fans what to expect from the final installment. The series is slated to premiere on July 21, exclusively on AMC and AMC+.

“Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity who inhabit a perpetually moving train, with 1001 cars, that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation,” reads the logline. “The action-packed finale of Season 3 left a split with Melanie Cavill leading the Eternal Engine and those passengers who chose to stay aboard Snowpiercer for relative safety, and Andre Layton leading the others on Big Alice choosing to adventure to the unknown, outside world of New Eden.”

What happens in the Snowpiercer Season 4 trailer?

The Snowpiercer Season 4 trailer introduces Agents of SHIELD star Clark Gregg as final installment’s newest villain, who’s leading a group of armed men into the titular train. To achieve their main goal of capturing Melanie Cavill, they’ve held a hundred passengers hostage. It also highlights the New Eden that Andre has created with the rest of the survivors who chose to leave Snowpiercer. However, the blissful new chapter of his life seemingly gets threatened after his baby daughter gets kidnapped.

Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 movie by Bong Joon-ho, who’s also attached as an executive producer on the project. The series stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Sam Otto, Chelsea Harris, Mike O’Malley,Roberto Urbina, and Sheila Vand. It is executive produced by Paul Zbyszewski, Christoph Schrewe, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Alissa Bachner, Matthew O’Connor, Ben Rosenblatt, and Scott Derrickson, along with the original film’s producers Bong, Miky Lee, Jinnie Choi, Park Chan-wook, Lee Tae-hun and Dooho Choi.
