Max has shared the first teaser trailer for Gremlins Season 2, which will now be titled as Gremlins: The Wild Batch. The animated prequel is expected to make its return this coming fall on Max.
“Season 2 follows Gizmo, Sam, and Elle as they travel from their home in Shanghai to San Francisco, bringing even more magic, mystery and Mogwai mayhem,” reads the new logline. “Hot on the trail of a new brood of evil Mogwai, our heroes journey deep into the American West, coming up against new supernatural creatures and picking up a few mysterious characters along the way.”

Who are the returning cast for Gremlins Season 2?
After starring in last year’s Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai, Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, Izaac Wang, AJ LoCascio, and Gabrielle Nevaeh are officially returning for the second installment to reprise their respective roles as Fong Wing/ Yin, Grandpa Wing, Hon Wing, Sam Wing, Gizmo, and Elle. Max also confirmed that they will be joined by an all-star guest cast who will be announced at a later date.
Gremlins: The Wild Batch is executive produced by Tze Chun and Steven Spielberg, with Chun serving as the showrunner. It is executive produced by Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, Sam Register, and Brendan Hay, with Dan Krall and Joe Dante serving as the supervising producer and consulting producer, respectively. It is a co-production between Amblin Television and Warner Bros.
