Netflix has shared the official America’s Sweethearts trailer for its newest documentary series, which offers an unfiltered access to a full NFL season with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders.
The video provides a brief introduction into the lives of the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as the documentary explores the ups and downs of their profession. The series is scheduled to start streaming on June 20, 2024 with seven 45-minute-long episodes.

What is America’s Sweethearts about?
“The documentary follows the 2023-24 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish — kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season,” reads the official logline. “The seven-episode series will give viewers unfiltered access into this iconic team and franchise. Led by longtime director Kelli Finglass, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders open their doors to document the personal stories behind the uniforms — revealing the drive, hustle, and drama among the cheerleaders and coaches. For many, it’s a dream to make the team — but that’s only just the beginning.”
America’s Sweethearts hails from Emmy Award-winning director Greg Whiteley and the team behind Netlfix’s popular docuseries Cheer and Last Chance U. The documentary is executive produced by Greg Whiteley and Adam Leibowitz for One Potato Productions; Andrew Fried and Dane Lillegard for Boardwalk Pictures; and Ross M. Dinerstein and Rebecca Evans for Campfire Studios.
