The trailer for The Lazarus Project Season 2 reveals the premiere date for the series, confirming that new episodes of the sci-fi saga will debut in June. Almost a year after the Season 1 finale aired on TNT, The Lazarus Project Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, June 9 at 9 PM ET/8 PM CT.
The show follows George, played by I May Destroy You and Black Mirror star Paapa Essiedu, as the latest recruit to the titular The Lazarus Project. It’s a top-secret organization with the ability to turn back time whenever there is a catastrophic, extinction-level event. Along with his new co-workers, George is one of the few people on Earth that has the ability to remember what happened before time was turned back. But as the episodes unfold, it’s clear that George’s new powers come with a cost.

What to know about The Lazarus Project Season 2
The new season finds that George is in disgrace after betraying The Lazarus Project. He’s determined to redeem himself and gain the trust of his friends and his co-workers, not to mention the love of his life. But when George discovers sinister truths about the organization he works for, George realizes he can only trust himself. That is made more complicated by the fact that the world is caught in a deadly time loop that the world must band together to stop.
Along with Essiedu, the cast includes Anjli Mohindra (Bodyguard), Tom Burke (Strike), Caroline Quentin (Bridgerton), Rudi Dharmalingam (Wakefield), and Charly Clive (Pure). Guest stars for The Lazarus Project Season 2 include Sam Troughton, Zoe Telford, Colin Salmon, and Safia Oakley-Green.
