Max has shared the official Pretty Little Liars Season 2 trailer for next installment to its coming-of-age mystery thriller, which will start streaming on Thursday, May 9 with the first two episodes. It will be followed by one new episode weekly through June 20.
The video highlights the introduction of the show’s newest villain, who is a creepy masked killer targeting each of the final girls that survived A’s attacks in Season 1.

What is Pretty Little Liars Season 2 about?
“Following the harrowing events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, our Pretty Little Liars face a fate worse than death – summer school,” reads the logline for Season 2. “However, Millwood High isn’t the only thing getting in the way of their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests. A new villain, who may or may not have a connection to A, has come to town and is going to put them all to the test.”
Based on Sara Shepard’s bestselling book series, Pretty Little Liars: Summer School stars Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez, and Elias Kacavas. The reboot is created and executive produced by Lindsay Calhoon Bring and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. Executive producers are original Pretty Little Liars series creator I. Marlene King, Michael Grassi, Caroline Baron, and Alloy’s Leslie Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo.
