AMC+ has dropped a brand new Interview with the Vampire Season 2 trailer for the upcoming next installment to its series adaptation of Anne Rice’s iconic supernatural novel of the same.
The video highlights the bloody and violent path that Louis and Claudia will embark on, as their trip to Paris leads them to get acquainted with a group of theater vampires who seemingly have a connection to Lestat.
It also teases one of the mysteries for Season 2, which involves Louis forgetting some of his memories from his time in Paris. The series returns on May 12 on AMC and AMC+.

What will Interview with the Vampire Season 2 be about?
“In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy,” reads the synopsis. “Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt , Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the Vampire Armand. Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.”
Interview With the Vampire is written and executive produced by Emmy nominee Rolin Jones, who also serves as the showrunner. Season 2 stars Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, Delainey Hayles as Claudia, Ben Daniels as Santiago, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Assad Zaman as Armand, and more. It is executive produced by Mark Johnson and Christopher Rice.
