According to Entertainment Weekly, Home Alone stars Macaulay Culkin and Kieran Culkin are set to reunite on Prime Video’s upcoming adult animated series The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, which will start streaming on February 23.
The Succession alum serves as one of the show’s series regulars, portraying the role of Dr. Plowp. In addition to Macaulay Culkin, Kieran Culkin will also be joined by his other three brothers Rory, Christian and Shane Culkin in their first acting project together. Macaulay, Rory, Christian and Shane Culkin will play Dr. Plowp’s brothers in an episode of Prime Video’s newest sci-fi comedy series.

What is The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy about?
“The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy follows Dr. Sleech and Dr. Klak – aliens, best friends, and intergalactically renowned surgeons – as they tackle anxiety-eating parasites, illegal time loops, and deep-space STIs. In Season One, doctors Sleech and Klak take on a highly dangerous and potentially groundbreaking case and, in doing so, put existence itself in jeopardy. Although considering their dismal personal lives, oblivion might be an improvement,” reads the logline.
The animated series will feature the voices of Maya Rudolph, Natasha Lyonne, Keke Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, Kieran Culkin, and Sam Smith. They will be joined by guest-stars Tracee Ellis Ross (American Fiction, Black-ish), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live, Fire Island), Abbi Jacobson (Broad City), Jay Ellis (Top Gun: Maverick, Insecure), Andrew Dismukes (Saturday Night Live), Lennon Parham (Minx), Gary Anthony Williams (Night Court), and John Waters (Hairspray).
Cirocco Dunlap serves as a showrunner and writer. Dunlap also executive produced the show, alongside Rudolph, Lyonne, Danielle Renfrew Behrens, Shauna McGarry, Shannon Prynoski, Chris Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina. The show’s production designer, Robin Eisenberg, will also co-produce.
