Peacock has dropped the Apples Never Fall teaser trailer for its upcoming family drama, starring Emmy nominees Annette Bening and Sam Neill.

The video introduces Bening as a devoted wife and mother of a picture-perfect family, whose seemingly keeping a dark secret. The 7-episode miniseries will start streaming on March 14.

What to expect in Apples Never Fall?

“It centers on the seemingly picture-perfect Delaney family,” reads the synopsis. “Former tennis coaches Stan and Joy have sold their successful tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives. While they look forward to spending time with their four adult children, everything changes when a wounded young woman knocks on Joy and Stan’s door, bringing the excitement they’ve been missing. But when Joy suddenly disappears, her children are forced to re-examine their parents’ so-called perfect marriage as their family’s darkest secrets begin to surface.”

Apples Never Fall is written and executive produced by Melanie Marnich, based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s bestselling novel. Joining Bening and Neill are Jake Lacy, Alison Brie, Conor Merrigan-Turner, Essie Randles, Georgia Flood, Jeanine Serralles, and Dylan Thuraisingham. The series will also include guest stars Katrina Lenk, Timm Sharp, Nate Mann, Paula Andrea Placido, Pooja Shah, and Quentin Plair.

It is executive produced by Bening, Moriarty, David Heyman, Gregory Jacobs, Joe Hortua, Albert Page, Chris Sweeney and Jillian Share, with Sweeney and Dawn Shadforth directing. It hails from Heyday Television and Universal International Studios.
